Waiting for the Promised Power
About This Message
Building on last week's message about reaching the city for Jesus, this message asks how that vision actually gets accomplished. Drawing from Acts 1, 2 and 4, the preacher argues that human effort, good structures and busy activity are like weak batteries that cannot power a city-sized assignment - only the Holy Spirit's power, received through waiting, unity and prayer, can do that. Using the picture of a machine that needs power to flow through it, and the disciples told to stay together in one accord until the promise came, the message calls the church to make prayer, worship and daily devotion a lifestyle rather than a Sunday event. It closes with a call to receive that power personally and an invitation to accept Christ.

I just can't speak. Anyway, and share the words of us this morning. So let's show our support and our love as he comes. Let's be ready, let's have our ears open, our hearts open to what God wants to speak to us this morning. Children, if you wanna gather at the back, Tracy and Tim will take you out so you can have a great time. (gentle music) - Why don't you put your hands together for the band and the team and the priest's team? It's been really amazing. Every time we come to worship, it's easier when we have bands, you understand? I imagine how it was in those days if we wanna flip back in the days where all you've got is your voices. No piano to back it up, no drums, and you've got a thing and yet the spirit was still present. But these days the sweeter and his better. Please celebrate the band and the priest's team one more time. They're doing a great thing. Wow, amazing, last week was, I don't know how to qualify, it was eclectic. It was energetic. How many of you were here when Pastor Joe took us through the five? And how many of you were able to see the real picture of the 85 of back to, and introducing the vision? I had the opportunity to go back to listen to the message. And it wasn't only dramatic, it was very instructive. She laid a very great foundation about many things. About the vision, it was clear. Our instructions are clear. And we're just gonna do a brief of what we do in those days in Bible study, recap our memories, undertake home on the key points for that particular message. How many of you can give me one point or two? Just one, it's a different service today. Let's test that memory. If you still remember anything you remember at all from that message. Anything at all. If you were here. And it's okay to go back to your notes. Yeah, it's okay to go back to your notes. Yeah, one hand. Okay. Yes, yes, your majesty. Praise the Lord. What did I think? Okay, she said the vision is not for Phil and Jo alone. That it is for everybody, so we should kill him. Amazing, can we put our hands together for that? Great, great memories. Yeah, I'm just gonna take two more points if we've got people who can remember. Reach everybody in the city for Jesus. Strong point to reach everybody in the city. I like the word everybody and I like the word city because that's our goal, that's where the vision is for. It is the city, right? And of course, she did a lot by defining what the city is, what the city is not. Any other person adding to that point? Last one and then we move on. Change starts from your doorstep, from your home. Great. Amazing and that is how she then defined how we can reach the city because she then broke the city down into starting from your doorstep and then reaching out. Why? Because if we say we're looking at the city, it seems like an illusion, isn't it? It's quite huge. So you feel this vision is almost impossible. How do we do it? But it starts with you, your doorstep, your home, the next person right in front of that door, right? And that next person to the next person. Imagine if we do that door by door, right? We're taking over the city. So it's quite a large one. I'm sure those of us who are not here, you can pick few points from that. So, I'm gonna establish that particular vision. Clarity in that vision is very, is so much, is very easy. But you understand how then do we reach a city? Now we know what to do. So how then do we do it? What do we have to do? So it's more like now we have action, we know it. How do we do it? And imagine that instruction is that there's a city in darkness. We are supposed to bring light to that city. And so we need, we are that machine, a very big machine that is bringing life to the city. How do we light the city up? And I've given you, I've come with a very good solution today. I'm sure you would like it. I have an amazing, long 10 years experience in storage. They are guaranteed. It's a AAA6 battery. And all I need to do is to give us each one, find a way to hold onto this, we link it together and perhaps we can light up the city. I am sure you will agree with me that that will not light up this little microphone. Right, so this is supposed to bring power, isn't it? But as much as this is about to bring anything to the assignment because the assignment is huge. This battery is not, but it's just not useful in this assignment. And maybe I've got another one. I say this brand cannot do our assignment. This is called the Energizer. My God, it's Maxi Park, it's AA. Wow. Another amazing one, I think this should do it. Can we make this work? No. So we need to still build this amazing machine. But after we build this machine, how do we power it? How? So the question of how is still consistent in what we need to do? And so you can give me an example of all the what you know, right, you have kilowatts, isn't it? Do you think we could get a few kilowatts? Could it, are we able to do that to light the city? Will it work? Maybe some megawatts. How many megawatts, for instance? Give me an example, how many megawatts can you think of? I'm sure it would not even still light the heating of one community or perhaps few houses. So let's assume what we need that we can tie to this is how many or what what will you call it? I will call it gigawatts. (laughing) Yeah, so let's call it gigawatts, right? And so we need to build that machine, we need to power the city and we need power to flow through it. But the machine alone is not what we need. We need power to flow through in order to power the city. And so the assignment is clear. Haven't received the vision is clear. How to actualize the vision is the next thing. And that's where we wanna go for you briefly in this. The answer to some of these questions will be in Act 1. And I'll quickly just read those verses for you. Act 1, 4 to 8. And then it says, "I'm being assembled together with them, "commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, "but wait for the promise of the Father, "which said that ye have heard of me." I want you to first note the first thing that, and that the word commandment is not a suggestion. It is not open to discussion. So some words you would create. However, in those days when a commandment is given, you have to refuse but there are consequences. Commandment is given, there are consequences. He said, "He commanded them, "and then he said to them, 'Parts, "'and they should wait for the promise of the Father.'" One interesting thing about the Father, when he promises you, I don't know how many of us have been, have so much enjoyed that privilege that even when your earthly father says, "I am going out, but I'm coming back "with a box of chocolates," you are so sure that you are getting it. And now he says, "He has come them, "not to depart but wait, my promise will come. "Even what royal meal can deliver, wait." "It is bigger." Don't forget, this is a big machine that has been built. We need something big to flow through it into the sea. And the Father is bringing it. Do not be in a hurry. Wait. And I love the rest of it. After he told them, "He said, 'You're ahead of me.' "Number five says, 'For John truly baptized with water, "but ye shall be baptized with holy ghosts.'" Not many days hence. When the therefore will come together, they ask of him, saying, "Lord, "we dower this time restore again the kingdom of Israel." And he said unto them, "It is not for you to know the times of the season "which the Father had put in his own power." First and foremost, the power does not even belong to you. It is his own power. And so I imagine that the disciples were probably even better than the Gen Z. They want it now and now. Imagine at that time the disciples are saying, "Father, why don't you just do it now?" And we're searching the generation now that we do not even want to wait anymore. If you hear the statistics, you perhaps be funny. It's a, some people type or call it the no chill generation. They say we don't have chills. So if it must happen, let it happen now. Your father said and commanded, wait for the promise. So we must understand that beyond our desire, there is a commandment. And for us to get the promise, you must fulfill your parts. And the instruction is wait. No matter how much you're in a hurry. Oh Lord, this feeds. Oh Lord, this particular exam. This my expectation. Oh Lord, this miracle. Wait. Wait, it will happen. As much as it is good, you desire it. But the point is wait. Why are you waiting? What should you do? Stay in faith. Stay in faith. And then he then told them that it is not for you. You know, the Father knew when his own power is said, but you shall receive power. And this is the key part of it, to come upon you. And you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and in the utmost part of the earth. Key point for me there as well is number one, power. What do you do with the power? You become witnesses. And another point there is that after that, the Holy Ghost is come upon you. That's when you will receive power. So the Father had given a whole lot in terms of what should we do? The vision is clear. How do we get the vision? This is how. How do we activate it? This is how. And quickly, additional to that is Acts chapter two. I just read one to four quickly. And the day of Pentecost was fully come. And afterwards, from all of those period, this is the next now. And they were all in one accord in one place. I like how the Bible broke it down with one accord in one place. One accord is not the same as one place. One accord, one mind, one vision. We agree. One goal, no offense taken. Not like I do not like this one. Two group gossiping. Everyone in one accord with one place. We agree on a vision. This is what we are doing. We move with it. And this is the definition of the healthy church. How the vision will be translated and activated is that we must be in one accord. We must share the same mindset and agree. As you'll agree with me that lots of churches, who you can call unhealthy today, the things that have infiltrated into them is that division. Once there is a division of mind, once there is a group and there's another group and there's another group and we are all having different interests, we must be in one accord. This is that we know where we have the common goal, we then come together to wait for the promise. So I can be in my home, but we are still in one accord. I can be far away in Asia, but I know this is where I belong. This is the vision I'm connected to, but we are in one accord. Because as you'll pray what we're praying about, as we are believing, I know what we're believing about and we are in agreement. Where there is division, there is no unity. For unity, the vision cannot be accomplished. So as interesting as we have been given that mandate to take the city, we must in one accord. And suddenly there came a sound from a heaven of a Russian and they filled out the house where they were sitting and they appeared unto them, cloving tongues like a fire and they sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to with other tongues and the Spirit gave them, as the Spirit gave them, utterance. And lastly, I would quickly read Acts chapter four of us and see how we can tie that all together. And it says, "And when they had prayed, "the place was shaking." Don't forget that it was shaking, everywhere was shaking the spread come and they were assembled together. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and respect the word of God with boldness. Keep on. As also last week, the vision was clear, right? We are gonna be repairers of the bridge, you know, the city from the neighborhood, all of those questions we know. But today I'll say to you that a city-sized vision cannot run on human batteries. So imagine this to be human batteries. So if a life church is run on our energy, things, on our effort, we will change nothing but us. We don't work in activities that are perhaps only social, not transformational. We work days, it is. But the vision is much more than that. Now, activities are good. It is what happened in those activities. (silence) And don't forget that that machine is empty. So if we're working on human batteries, simply built, but we still do not know how to power these to the city, then there's nothing happening. We've only built aesthetics. It's amazing when we come to church and then you find the lights in walking, you find everything working, you find the sound, find it beautiful. But how many of us know that the church is more than that? It's everything. It's needed. Don't be deceived. Really needed. The church is, because we are the church. We are the church. And so it's a question of what do we look for the world to see and for the world to feel? And so the assignment came with a wait. On one occasion, and that's from the verse four, it said, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command. Don't forget, I said, it's not a suggestion. And he told them, do not leave. I don't know. How many times that you have found yourself in that place where God has told you to stay? And he has said, stay, do not leave. When God gives such instructions, again I'm saying there are no suggestions. It takes a very spiritual mindset to understand that there's a season for you to wait. There's a season for the disciples to gather first and then to wait while they gather. Because they cannot all of a sudden jump to the benefit of waiting without waiting. They cannot all of a sudden become witnesses without waiting. What are you going to witness? You need an encounter in order to impact. And this is the realities that we face now where do not join or feel or turn the spiritual experience. You know there's a way you can actually act without leaving it. There's a need for it to be a deep, follow the instructions, understand the process, stay with God, wait for the release and then it will naturally impact. And imagine if we were all together in one accord, in one place, the ground was shaking, we got the spirit, imagine how much force we can take the city. That is going to be more than gigawatts. Like a bolt of lightning. Imagine how the city will be taken if it strikes it, (imitates explosion) bush. It's a rush of mighty winds. And as dramatic as it sounds, this is what the Holy Ghost is able to do. And that deposit is possible within all of us. And this is why it's important, we are all in one accord. Why? Because when that deposit comes on me alone, I am limited. I can do a few, don't forget how Pastor Joe broke it down within my neighborhood. But imagine if you agree with me, you agree with me, you agree with me, you agree with me. We all agree together and in one accord, we all got the deposit. Imagine the nations we will take. So today we need us. The vision needs us all to be in one accord, in one place, waiting for the deposit and the promise of the Father. Because it becomes way easier to achieve this vision if we are all in one accord and in one place, waiting for the Father. You see? It's interesting that because the disciples at this point were already with Jesus for a while, they had been trained. They could click him, say, "Why do we have to wait? "Haven't we seen you raise the dead?" I've heard what you said when you raised the dead in the name of Jesus, rise up. They have seen it, but don't forget, it is neat, the Holy Ghost. Now Christ is going to leave, but it's gonna give them something that would then do much more than he had done because he said when he's gone, it's to release you the spirit that will make you do much more. And so if there were so much critical, intellectuals, professorial, academic, and they said, no Jesus, we don't need to wait, why do you tell us to wait? Don't worry, just go. The next will step out, hey, you wake up. Hey, they could look them in the face, I said, Jesus, I do. If they go and they want to raise the dead and they pray and pray and pray for a demon, it would say, Jesus, I know, because it is just a human battery that is speaking, it is empty. There is no in feeling, there is no energy blowing through that vessel. And so, they still have to wait. So the design was finished, the power hadn't fallen yet. And Jesus didn't say you will receive a plan, He said you will receive power after that the Holy Ghost is fall upon you. A quick breakdown of what that means in practical terms, when we say exactly is power. And exactly what is written, because it starts with the word power, which in the Greek breakdown is translated to die, and it means inherent ability, capability or mat. To fully understand it, it's also called exosia. And it's an ability or an engine or a capability or a force to achieve supernatural task and be miraculous. So Jesus related the power in Matthew 1120 and he calls it the mighty works because you can do works but you may not be able to do mighty works except to go power. So we can gather people, it's a good work, but it is a mighty work when the people we have gathered we brought people see because we've got mighty works we can heal the sick. Our advertisement can of course attract people. But our infilling of the Holy Ghost can't fill them up and transform them. Power is effective in many things. One of such is that it is that power that we need to then become witnesses. And witnesses in this sense, the word matter was reflected in the last week's message and it's an idea. We identify with him, we are able to testify or to say the truth of it, what he has done. So the design isn't the power. That's the first point to note. The design he has given us isn't just the power. The church vision, the statement, the structure, the series, the good design, you know, it doesn't raise the dead, does it? It's a good thing. But they are good, they are interesting. They are a way for us to start, just like the foundation was laid last week. Write the vision, make it plain. Abba Cook said that. He says, "So that day that we run with it, we'll run with it." It's a guide, but it doesn't raise the dead and encounter those. (silence) What is important is the presence of. Outside that document, does the presence, remember when Moses said, he said, "If with us we would go, no presence," is what makes the difference. And imagine if the disciples did not wait, they would live with their presence, not the presence of God. Because when they came out, as he was before, he came out transformed now with the miracles that he then did afterwards. The nominal Peter, who was ordinary, came out to become the one that is a mighty work, reflective of the Master Jesus. So the season of waiting and the season to wait to receive the dunamis is very important. (silence) Because we can build the machine, actually, but only God can send the lightning. Can send the lightning. We can motivate a lot, we can do a lot physically, but only God can strike it. That particular effect that can power that city can only be struck in by God. When they are in a particular strike zone, because he gave them a zone, he said, be together in one accord, in one place, market. That's the, it's an instruction. It's in that place that God would drop his power. So if by any other means you were here, when you should be here with others, while the power is dropping here, perhaps only justice fall in here, nothing. But even the disciples could not draw down as much as they were so eager and hasty, there's a timing of God. Through the machine, but only God can light it up. And one of those things we want to do today is to look at ourselves as a family. And look at our church and say, what part of our life do we run, for instance, or keep running fine, if the Holy Spirit withdraws, what part will keep running fine? We don't need to answer, we just need to think about it. If we diagnose ourselves and say, what part of our family life as a church, if the Holy Ghost is not there? Answers of several importance of how we must keep running or we must stick to the design of God and the timing of God. And the second point is that lightning has an address. And the second verse that I read is that when the day of Pentecost came, the rest, which was about that particular strike zone that they were given, suddenly, like the bling of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house and they were sitting where they were sitting or what seemed to be like a tongues of fire that separated and came on the rest on each of them. All of them were filled with oligos and began to speak in boldness as the street enabled them. So it has an address. It has a timing. It has a strike zone and it has a timeline. So the clock tower is not what we can determine. God is running it. And he knows when, so as much as you're looking and you're waiting and that's why I say, what do you do while you wait? Stay in faith. Stay in worship. Stay in prayers. Stay in water called Keeper Green. Because at some point in time when the Lord decides and the Lord is sure known that we are ready and he is ready, the boat of lightning will strike. It will strike. You can quickly relate that to the story of the wedding. When the wine was finished, he gave them clay instruction and Mary who knew that he can do something, also knew that he works with time. You cannot pressure him. You do not determine how. He does not know how he would do it. But it simply said to them, whatever it says to you to do, do it. And when it was time and it was still in the time zone, the disciples were waiting. They were waiting. They knew that the commandment will come at any time. We don't know what it will be. I'm sure it sounds weird to them and it said, fill up those jars with water. What is it? Water. But again, whatever it says to you to do, do it. So they simply remember, let's do it. And they carried it. The Bible did not record that it went there. It laid hands on it. It took some experiment, took a little bit of vinegar, took a little bit of vanilla, spring, or took a little bit of ginger, it didn't have to mix anything. It simply said, fill it up with water. And they filled the jar and they left and it said, take it. And it became best of wine possible. So if we are in the time zone and in the strike zone within the clock tower, this is going to happen if we want to call it. If we stay consistent, I want to call it, there's something, the boat of lightning will come on us and that vision will be activated to take the city. To light it up will become easy. So why is our clock tower? We can name them our prayer meetings. This evening we have Bible study. That's a clock tower. It's an opportunity. It's a meeting. You've got the opportunity. Just be there. The word of knowledge will come. The insight of the word of God will come. Stay there. There's a meeting up and then we're there. There's a Sunday service and worship is going on. And you see, I remember Pastor Phil preached a message about worship. He mentioned Tehila, he mentioned Shabak, he mentioned Tudah, he mentioned Red. And in that message, beyond the sweet music, when worship gets to a point and it becomes a personal encounter, he's saying, "Who is standing next to you?" Because it is you standing with the throne of God, lifting him up. And so we need you beside me as well to do the same. And so if I'm so concerned, and so that's why I'm looking, it's my dress ruffled. Oh my God. I cry. Oh my God. My makeup. Oh God, my hair is ruffled. My wig is intense. And at some point you know that this is a father. We lift this part of worship. No one. But the father is then looking down on you. And you are looking into the throne of God. The strings is playing. They are worshiping. The pianist is playing. They are living. But when you, we are not audience, we are not called spectators. The reason we come and we sit on this side in that particular time zone and the clock time for us to be spectators. We are participants. The hypo's are not spectators. They were not waiting for the wonder. They are supposed to be the people to carry the wonders. It was not a magic. Jesus didn't say wait and I will bring a magician and we're worshiping. Be involved in it. Be engaged in it. Let your whole being worship. If all you can do is to cry, cry. If you want to shout, shout. If you want to roll on the floor, roll on the floor. Make sure that you are worshiping the Father. That we lived in an environment now where we're very conscious. We want to just, oh my God, I don't want to disturb. I don't want to, oh my God, the spirit of God. When it comes or when it drops on them, he said they were speaking in other tongues. You can imagine how it was when he says he was shaking. It means there was chaos. He was shaking, he was vibrating and the tongues of COVID on each and every one of them. And they started speaking, how do you orchestrate that? And I'm sure they were not whispering. I want us to be bold when this comes on you because when you have made yourself available, as you then cannot go forth what you have received, as you contain it, as you are still, the culture does not limit the gospel, not define the gospel, do not be contained by it. When the spirit be expressive with the spirits. And so our clock tower, the prayer meets in the worship, the quiet daily habits that we do. And it's interesting that we come to church, we pray together, but they're extended to we. Don't forget I said that in one accord, in one place, so when we worship, when you get home, do not leave a light that is not worshiping God. Stay tuned to him, keep worshiping. When we come and we pray, and you still remain in particular place of prayer, keep it a daily habit. The race and the vision is not only for when we come together, it is for our daily life. It must become a particular lifestyle that we reflect. And it cannot, all we do is only on Sundays. God is not only the God of Sunday morning. And Monday morning is still God. But even on Tuesday is God. And so why do we wait only to worship on Sundays? And it's a wake up call for all of us. It's also that power. It's a way of waiting. I'm gonna rush a bit now. The third point. So when I mentioned prayer, prayer is not the preparation for the work, prayer is the positioning for the power. It's the positioning for power. Because they were all in one accord. Like I said, if you ask 200 Bible scholars, I'm sure none of them would tell you why they were all in one accord. All they were doing was gossiping. Because he had said, stay together, stay in this clock zone. Could you imagine that with the power to them, they still decide to be in one accord. And all they are doing, "Did you remember what happened yesterday?" "Oh my God, did you watch it? Oh my God." "Did you see that? Oh my God." No. (laughs) No. Yeah, yeah, where is the power? It would only be imaginary. They were waiting, they were positioning. It means they were praying. They were feasting on the world. They were reflecting on the works of Jesus. They were possibly teaching as well some of the things he had taught them and they were preparing their spirit and their soul. So when we take prayer as a way of waiting, it is positioning us for the power. Can the band come up with? Number third point is stay plugged in. Which of course would be the last point. Stay plugged in or stay locked in. Lord do not leave, stay locked in. Do not get tired, stay locked in. I know you want the miracle, but stay believing. I know that you are expectant of God's hand, but stay believing. I know that you have prayed, I know you are still praying, but do not give up. Stay locked in, stay plugged in. After they had prayed, the place where the meeting was shaking, after they had prayed, they didn't leave. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke the word of God boldly. The word boldly here, you can translate to many things. It means with clarity, it means with assurance. It means they spoke what they are now assured to say you now have the Spirit, go forth. And it means influence, they spoke the word of God boldly. And that's one of the things that the Spirit will give to us. It's the boldness to take the city. Because we can receive the power, we can for us to be witnesses, we must have clarity of what we know, of what we have received, of what we have seen. And so if I want to step out, I can tell you when you ask me, what has God done? Why would you tell me that there is God? What in the name of Jesus, what have you done with the name of Jesus? I can use my life. I can use my journey. I can use my days. I can use the covenant. I can use the experiences while we were waiting. I can tell you that there was a church who stood together, had nothing, didn't know that the roof will be fixed. We were in zero, but we got above and beyond what we needed and the roof was fixed. And that is because we waited. We stayed, we prayed, we believed, we were in monocle towards one project. And that is a testimony when you ask me, how do I know there is God there? How do I know our life carries God? Because we prayed and God was there and he told us to believe and we were not trying to find it. God brought it. It came with ease. And by the time we went back to look through, the book was full. The roof was fixed. We can count and go to another miracle. We can count and go to another miracle. So do not leave that place. Stay locked in. There's something about that vision when we are together in one accord with a strike zone, waiting for that clock tower. There's something about it when it strikes. You will receive power. When you receive power, you can be bold to witness. You can go to the utmost part of the earth. Judea, Jerusalem in this sense. Let's tie it back to what Joe told us. And that is the city. You don't have to travel now to go to Jerusalem. Our Jerusalem is, if I say in Christ, my Jerusalem, my Judea is in Christ, is on my street, is at my door, my next neighbor, am I nice to the person or am I evil to them? And I come to church the next Sunday. The one I called here, I must carry that email. And I'm going to school or college, that is our place of influence. The right words we say to the next person, because we receive power and they know that we believe him or Jesus. If we say we believe in healing and we tell them we deal, we will heal and God has given us power. After a while, they will be God we carry. And the city will be ours. We need to understand that darkness is a rough and we are the light waiting to shine. That's why the Bible says this expectation of creation awaits the manifestation of the Son, so God is that even after we have been depositioned with that, we must manifest, we must be bold. (gentle music) And so the power of the first in Acts chapter one and also the power in Acts chapter two and the power in Acts chapter four, three different encounters means that it is just no ones. God that is able to reach one is able to reach another is able to reach all. And maybe you are seated in this place this morning. I say, I have got spout. I've carried it and it looked like I'm lost now. I can't carry it anymore. I can boldly announce to you that God is still God. The one who released the power can release it again. And maybe you are saying, oh no, you don't understand, preacher, I am so, so, I have done so, so, the evil I have done, the danger I have gone, Bible says I would not remember them. That's in train about God's repentance. Does not record it when he strikes it off. A man can judge you God doesn't. If you'd like you to be on your feet. While our eyes are closed, a lot of how we want to stay and impact our world. I like you to know what you want to do this week. Don't forget we've talked about starting the world called prayers, waiting, worshiping. And we can create a routine around this this week. There are names on your mind right now that you want to write down. You know you can pray for them. That's the way. And I want us to resolve in our minds to do this routine this week. We want to say for 10 minutes every day, I want to pray 10 minutes. My free time is 2 o'clock to 2.10 am going to rain. Maybe you want to say I want to worship. I want to do 10 minutes. I want to do 30 minutes. You don't even need to time it. But if that's what works for you, that's a stance. I want you to think about how you want to stay in one accord with us this week. One daily routine. It might just be your neighbor, your neighbor. I want you to bring the names of your dust steps into the presence of God every day this week with the rest of us. Every day this week. I want you to bring the names of your dust steps into the presence of God every day this week with the rest of us. So that we can know the power not on our human nature. You're standing here with us in agreement. And you say, I want to receive the power. I want to be witnesses. I want to speak with boldness. But I do not know who God is. While every eyes are closed, I like you to just raise your hand. I want to just raise your hand. I do not know who God is, but I want to accept him. I want to know him. I want to know him. I want to be his witness. I want to carry the power. I want you to put that hand on your chest. I like you to just praise the Lord Jesus. I have come to you today. I proclaim that you are Lord and Savior. I declare that you are my God. I know you are able to save. I know I'm able to deliver. I know you are able to redeem. I subject my life to you. I submit my hope to you. Take it. Give me for your glory. Let me be an instrument. Let me be a witness. Let me be your presence. Let me speak with all of this. If you've made that prayer, you want to talk to any of the pastors after the service. Like it, you just come to someone and you'll be able to pray for them. For the rest of us, for the rest of this week, Father, we pray. As we engage and as we stay in the strikes, as we stay under the clock tower, Father, we wait for your presence. We wait for the release of your power, of your glory, of the dimensions of these worlds. We are not in a hurry. Father, we know that we are ready to take the city, but we wait for the power that your presence for. Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done. Have I endowed our lives with your presence? Let it strike us at the reign of your mercy. Let it force the boldness to do this as a single, Jesus' name.
