The clocks go back, the nights draw in, and every October the culture throws a party for the dark. Ghosts, gore and fear are dressed up as harmless fun. Most of us go along with it without a second thought.

But what are we actually celebrating?

In Scared of the Dark, we head to John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Over three weeks we’ll ask honest questions about Halloween, about fear, and about the darkness people carry every day. Then we’ll discover why followers of Jesus aren’t called to fear the dark or play with it, but to shine in it.

The dark is real. The Light is stronger. And the darkness has a problem.
